Claira has been cooing for awhile now...lots of oohs and aaaahs. She mastered the g sound about a month ago, but it's been a lonely consonant for several weeks. Until yesterday. On the way home from the doctor's office, Claira was getting fussy and starting was crying out, "baaaa, baaaa, baaaa!" like a little lamb!
Earlier this morning, I was holding her when she spit up all down the front of herself so I grabbed a burp cloth and sat her down on the couch so I could clean her up. She immediately starting wailing and cried out, "OOO, mama!" It was quite funny because it fit the occasion, but I know she doesn't know what she's saying yet.

awww! i love it when they start piecing sounds together...right now, drew is stuck on WAHHHHH! can you tell he is crying right now? lol
